Affordable Professional Automated Process Quality Monitoring

Wave Watcher is a process quality monitor for a variety of manufacturing processes. It is used with options for projection and spot welding, leak testing, detection of broken or dull tooling and other processes where analog values need to be held within specific limits.

QUALITY MONITORING for MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS

Clear visual results ensure you know how your process is running. Graph the raw measurements or teach the desired waveform profile and monitor the deviation.

Limits are set either with basic ‘Hi’ and ‘Lo’ limits or can have variable settings over different points in time to capture even more complex waveform profiles such as in leak testing or from force and strain gauges on press operations detecting dull or broken punches.

It provides two additional graphs for calculated values, such as using a voltage and current input to derive power or display a calculated RMS value.

EASY CONNECTION TO YOUR EQUIPMENT

Connection to the four 4 to 20ma or 0 to 10 volt analog inputs is made easy through readily available connectors. The option for digital encoder inputs is available for more accurate displacement or position measurement.

Outputs are available for ‘All pass’ or Fail’ and individual channel pass outputs from each channel.

Easy Setup

1

CONNECT

You can order the Wave Watcher as a package with all the required hardware for your application. Connection is simplified and fast.

2

TEACH

Running your process will trigger the Wave Watcher. You can then go to the edit page and press teach so it knows the profile it should expect.

3

ADJUST AS NEEDED

You can set limits automatically from the edit page using the results. You can then make adjustments easily using the capacitive touch screen.
